Welcome, and thank you for being here. These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the basis on which you can use the website www.allyceananda.com and book or purchase the sessions, events, courses and other offerings of Allyce Ananda (ABN 13 592 083 974) ("we", "us", "our").

By using our website, booking a session or event, or buying a course or product, you agree to these Terms. Please read them, along with our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or our services.

1. About us

Allyce Ananda is a holistic voice coach and song leader offering singing circles, one-to-one voice coaching, emotional expression sessions, event hire and self-paced online courses. You can contact us any time at connect@allyceananda.com.

2. Using our website

You're welcome to browse and use our website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation or security, or use it for anything unlawful.

3. Our content and intellectual property

All content on this website and within our courses and programs — including videos, audio, written material, exercises, images, branding and design — is owned by or licensed to Allyce Ananda and is protected by copyright. It's created with a lot of love and care.

When you buy a course or take part in a program, you're given a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use that content for your own learning. You may not copy, share, record, resell, redistribute or publicly share the materials or your login details, without our written permission.

4. Bookings, sessions and events

When you book a singing circle, a one-to-one session, an emotional expression session or an event, the details, price and any specific arrangements will be confirmed with you at the time of booking. Please arrive on time and let us know as early as you can if something changes.

If we ever need to cancel or reschedule a session or event, we'll give you as much notice as possible and work with you to find a new time or arrange a refund of any amount you've paid for that session. Cancellations and rescheduling by you are handled according to the arrangements confirmed at booking — so if your plans change, get in touch with us as soon as possible.

5. Online courses — access

When you purchase the online course, you'll receive access to the course portal and materials for the access period stated at the time of purchase (currently 12 months for I'd love to sing, BUT…). Access is for you alone. Please don't share your login or the course content with others.

6. Payments and pricing

Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and are payable at the time of booking or purchase. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. Where a payment plan is offered, you agree to pay each instalment when it falls due.

7. Refunds

Our online courses are digital products that give you immediate access to their content, so we generally do not offer refunds for change of mind. Please choose carefully and reach out with any questions before you buy.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You're always entitled to the consumer guarantees that apply — for example, if a product or service isn't as described or has a significant problem, you may be entitled to a remedy. If you have a concern about something you've purchased, please contact us at connect@allyceananda.com and we'll work with you to make it right.

8. A note on wellbeing (important)

Our singing circles, voice coaching and emotional expression work are creative, exploratory and supportive spaces. They are not therapy, counselling, medical treatment or psychological treatment, and they are not a substitute for professional advice or care.

Taking part is your own choice and responsibility. If you're managing a physical, mental or emotional health condition, please use your own judgement about what's right for you, and seek support from a qualified health professional where you need it. If at any point you're struggling or in crisis, please reach out to a doctor, a mental health professional, or a support service such as Lifeline on 13 11 14.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website, services or courses. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Links to other sites

Our website and content may include links to third-party sites (such as Spotify, Instagram or Substack). We provide these for convenience and aren't responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

11. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please see our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the "last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
